Both engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The SUV also comes standard with intelligent all-wheel drive, which balances torque while maximizing traction. The Ford, so equipped, can tow up to 3,500 lbs.
Top-of-the-range infotainment
The Edge comes standard with a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and housing the latest incarnation of Ford's advanced infotainment system, SYNC 4A. It also comes standard with Wi-Fi connectivity and the FordPass app, which lets you control certain features of your vehicle remotely. The Edge is available with a variety of optional equipment, including a high-end Bang & Olufsen audio system, panoramic sunroof and rear-seat entertainment system.
